Committed to Patient Care
Experienced, trustworthy, dedicated. These are just a few of the ways that folks at the Clinic describe Charles Woods. He founded the Great Physicians Clinic in 2002. He is a veteran and the person we all look to for answers.
The Great Physician Dental Clinic became a reality as the result of an answered prayer from God by Brother Charles Woods. In 1995, when he was ready to retire from his position as Minister of Music at First Baptist Church in Albertville, Brother Woods asked God to reveal to him what ministry God wanted him to become involved in for the next century. Brother Charles is in his 18th year as Volunteer Director.
Judy Berry brings a sparkle of enthusiasm to the Clinic. She has been a resident of Albertville for much of her life and has worked in education for 39 years. The culmination of her career was serving as Superintendent of Education for the Scottsboro City School System for over 11 years. She began as a teacher and went on to be an Elementary Assistant Principal and Supervisor in Albertville City and Marshall County school systems. Dr. Judy Berry is an active member of Solitude Baptist Church in Albertville.
Brother Joey is authentic; he is refreshingly human. Reverend Cannady has served in this position for the past 10 years. His responsibilities include praying individually with each patient and counseling with them regarding their relationships with God. Rev. Cannady recruits and schedules weekly volunteer chaplains, who have a desire to serve and assist the clinic's patients in their spiritual growth. Rev. Joey Cannady is the Senior Pastor of Solitude Baptist Church in Albertville, AL, where he recently began his 21st year. “Brother Joey” Cannady displays the Great Physician’s Dental Clinic’s Christian love of serving God by serving others.
